Dr. Gerhard Klingenbrunner has over four decades of experience in complex, corporate matters, domestic and international, transactional and in disputes.  Gerhard possesses expertise in a wide range of commercial sectors, in particular: domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, joint ventures, corporate restructuring, commodities, sale and manufacture of goods, site constructions, real estate, and general corporate matters.

For over three decades, Gerhard served as the General Counsel, and later Vice President of Strategic Projects – Legal, of one of Austria’s leading publicly listed companies, where he led a team comprised of up to over 30 in-house and external legal counsel for various legal projects and disputes worldwide.

While based in Vienna, Austria, Gerhard has professional, worldwide experience. In addition to Austria, Gerhard has handled transactions and disputes in the Americas (the U.S., Brazil, ),  Europe (the U.K., France, Germany, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Italy Poland), Russia, and Australasia (P.R. China, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and Australia).

Gerhard is fluent in German and English, and conversant in French.
